Typefaces, kerning and font-pairing… Oh my! The seasoned graphics professional as well as the ad hoc marketing person wearing multiple hats in a small firm can be vulnerable to typographical missteps that can surreptitiously weaken the design impact of a presentation or proposal package in a competitive market. This SMPS Boot Camp will examine some good and bad examples of typography, review basic elements for beginners, delve into tips and tricks to make sure layouts look their best, and cover some of today’s hottest typography trends to bring your marketing materials up to date.
