SMPS NOVEMBER 16TH COASTAL COMMITTEE WEBINAR REBROADCAST OF BOOT CAMP SESSION # 2

The Coastal Committee of SMPS Atlanta will be hosting a Webinar Rebroadcast of “The Essentials of Crisis Management and Media Training” in Savannah, Georgia.  The viewing event will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 11:30am – 1:00pm at Hussey Gay Bell, 329 Commercial Drive, Suite 200, Savannah, GA 31406.

Please note that this is a rebroadcast of a SMPS Atlanta 2017 Boot Camp Session.  Attendees will participate together in a group setting, and there will be an interactive Q&A discussion after the webinar.

The cost will be $10 per person to attend this session.  BYOL – Please bring your own lunch to this event, and refreshments will be provided.

SMPS BOOT CAMP 2: THE ESSENTIALS OF CRISIS MANAGEMENT AND MEDIA TRAINING

Every organization will have a day when something goes wrong. The best firms will have a plan in place for those days. What do you do when crisis strikes?

During this webinar, Mark Braykovich and Hank Sforzini fromThe Wilbert Group will provide insights on how to respond in a crisis, including how to evaluate the risks, determine what to say and when to say it, how to know if it’s time to put the CEO on center stage and how – if possible – to diffuse the crisis. The session will also include media training tips on preparing for a big interview (which can help in good times and in bad) and how to focus your messaging to mitigate a crisis and/or to put your company/brand in the most positive light.
