Come hear some tips and strategies to maintain your firm's strategic / market focus during this tough economic time. Please join us for this Boot Camp, led by Jim Lenahan, an independent business development consultant who represents non-competing firms in the A/E/C industry.
Jim will discuss the importance of business plans and strategic marketing and how they matter in today's market. Jim will also discuss his role as a business development director and how it impacts the marketing staff.

Jim Lenehan
Jim is an independent business development consultant representing non-competing firms in the A/E/C industry, including project managers, civil engineers, industrial and interiors/specialty general contractors.
Jim has over 15 years of business development experience in the A/E/C industry, including three years with a Skanska Joint Venture and 8 years for the architectural firm Leo Daly. Prior to joining the private sector, Jim was a Senior Project Manager for the GA Department of Economic Development for 12 years recruiting business and industry to the state.
Jim currently serves on the Boards of the Henry County Water and Sewerage Authority, the Tourism Development Alliance of GA (TDAG) and the GA Downtown Association (GDA). He is a visiting lecturer at Georgia Tech's College of Architecture on Business Development and Marketing. His professional memberships include the Georgia Economic Developers Association (GEDA). Jim is also a founder and past President of the Korea – Southeast U.S. Chamber of Commerce; past Chairman of the Fayette County United Way, Board Member of the Metro Atlanta United Way and Fayette County YMCA Board.
Jim received his degree in Urban Studies from Trinity College in Hartford, CT and is a graduate of the Choate School. He received his Certification in Economic Development Financing from the National Development Council in 1986. He holds an inactive GA Realtors license and is a graduate of Leadership Georgia.
